I know that I only created booklit a few months ago as a way of storing my reviews and settled in quite happily with the WordPress blogging service. Over this time I have wanted to do things with booklit that I have been unable to do within the restrictions of a free blog. I can’t change the style or add extra widgets in order to improve the blogging experience, for myself and for the readers.

As a result, I have decided to move to a new site at www.booklit.com. All the reviews, comments, and categories on this site have been moved over to there and I’m sure you’ll agree it looks much nicer. The columns are cleaner and each post offers users the opportunity to add booklit to multiple social bookmarking sites, courtesy of addthis, thus helping it broaden its readership.

I ask kindly for anyone who has listed booklit.wordpress.com in their Blogroll to consider changing it to www.booklit.com. I will keep this incarnation of booklit available until I’m satisfied the new URL is receiving traffic.
